The best thing to do is tell yourself you know your subject and are well prepared. Try to look at their forehead and not the eyes. Take a deep breathe and just relax.
Next time prepare with a small group of people at your house, or you can do it in front of the mirror or videotape it. That way you can get practice without an audience. Good luck.

It helps if you practice over a few times and ask for advice. Practice in front of your family of you can and ask how they think you did. I know its really hard at first but if youd read it out loud to your family and to yourself a couple times before it makes it easier when you have to do it for real.
Also speak a little louder and slower than you normally do. Dont look up at anyone if that will make you more nervous, look at the back wall or look at someone who you know is rooting for you.
You might feel like you are struggling worse than anybody but betcha someone else does worse.
I used to want to poop my pants.
remember it only lasts a few minutes and it’ll be over soon, once you start.
Good luck!!!! its hard, I know.

Bite down hard and sign up for a speech class. It was a requirement for everybody when I was in college. Almost everybody in the class is going to be frightened so you automatically have a sympathetic audience that has the same fears as you. They won’t laugh at you because “You’re next.”

Take the Dale Carnegie course. While some of the execises are a little ridiculous, it really will help.
